It’s time to clean out those old shelves of vinyl records while you’re stuck at home for the next few weeks. Maybe, just maybe… you’ll find an album that’s a hidden treasure (more than the amazing music).

Claire Davies of Louder Sound spoke to auctioneer and vinyl expert Martin Hughes about the most expensive and elusive vinyl out there. “Valuable LPs are varied and cover off a wide range of genres. In terms of how much they’re worth, some have an evergreen value, while other valuable vinyl records fluctuate in price depending on buying trends, band anniversaries and other notable events, including the death of an artist”, she wrote.
